How it works:
It takes 5-6 high definition close range pictures if your finger (you can select the finger to use from both hands)
Your phone needs to have flash and minimum of 8MP.

Scanning your finger the first time takes time, you must not shake your hand, must jot bring the camera too close to your finger.

After the first time it doesn't take much time to scan.
You just put your finger under the camera, it takes a picture of your finger and checks it against the one you took the first time.
If they're close it unlocks the app, if not it doesn't and you have to retry.

In addition to finger scan you can also use pin and pattern to lock app.
