Jayholiday: Same here, dont too much care for eba, its so hard,and. . . . . . arrrrghhhhh!!!!,  i think i'll even opt for fufu over eba sef,  no matter how good the soup tends to be, i just wouldnt have eba, but like u've listed u can always make do with those, esp. iyan, ma all time fav.!! |

I also HATE eba. Eba is the worst of them all! The taste is . Especially the sour one. It makes soups taste funny. I also hate semo,tuwo and amala. The best ones are pounded yam and fufu. |

I tasted that garri stuff as i bought it once it was the white one sort of lumpy and i have never tasted anything as bitter and smelly, yuck. I like all the other ones but really not that one. |

Leilah:Because you cook it lumpy. Not all are sour sha. When the water is hot and boiling. . . .put garri right away. And mix it very well before leaving it for a while. . . . Then you mixed it again. You don't leave the lumps till the second mix |

Well, it depends on the kinda garri you have. Some are sour, some taste a little tiny bit sweet, while others are neutral  |

@ topic I shared the same sentiment after being forced to eat eba 5 times a week with some dreadful,dreadful soups in sec sch but now that I have limited access to garri I think it's growing on me (not that I love it though). |
