The so-called Power Reform policy was fundamentally flawed from the very beginning.

It's only in a strange country like Nigeria that the government would undertake actions meant to further pauperise its already impoverished citizens in the name of privatization, which is another fine name for fraud.

Utilities are not meant to be handled the way other businesses are handled.

Buhari needs to, if he's serious about real change, cancel the so-called sale of the distribution companies as the 'buyers' have shown that they lack the competence and capacity to run the sector and ensure that the federal and state governments directly take over the provision of stable electricity to the people.

Where people are being charged for darkness and the issue of metering has become another dark science!
