By James Agberebi: Super Eagles striker, Emmanuel Emenike, scored twice as Al Ain defeated Al Wasl 2-0 in the Arabian Gulf League on Sunday. Emenike opened scoring in the 47th minute before netting the second goal in the 63rd minute to give Al Ain the win. Emenike was later replaced by Mohamed Abdulrahman with eight minutes remaining in the match. The win sees Al Ain occupy the second position with six points from two games. Their next game comes up on Saturday at home to Al Sharjah. Emenike who joined Al Ain from Turkish giants, Fenerbache, was in action for the Eagles against Tanzania and Niger Republic during the international break. |
