If u think this lamp is old school, abeg which one do u think have taken its place. I don't mean all these rechargeable lamps thant don't last 2hrs. No lamp has taken its place unless u have resorted to using ur phone torch and candles |

When I was going to the university my mum bought this for me rather than the rechargeable lamp , I was never ashamed of it when I took it to night class , when I moved off campus in my second year, I took it with me , My friends and. I laughed about regularly but when NEPA will decide to be foolish and seize the energy for weeks my kerosene lantern saved me a lot of time. While everyone was hustling to charge there phones and lanterns, I was burning the proverbial midnight candle whilst imaging myself in Chinua Achebe's shoes. I love my mum for her vision and foresight ***FUTO |
