The Nigerian tertiary institutions are generally seen to be backward when compared to their counterparts in other neighbouring African countries. The low level of research and the inconsistent way of carrying out the academic activities coupled with its zombie-focussed curriculum have caused a serious dent on the standard of education being passed on to millions of undergraduates in our institutions of higher learning today.
One of the reasons why the Nigerian graduate is regarded as Half Baked (no matter the category of degree) is the fact that the orientation while in school is to graduate and get a job, rather than to graduate and create a job or better still, graduate and become a meaningful member of the society.
If you are a graduate who has been going about searching for a job and you are not thinking of other alternative ways of making yourself useful to your family and the society at large, this piece of information is for you "YOU ARE A HALF BAKED GRADUATE"
Wake up from your slumber, pick up few opportunities from the millions of opportunities in your environment and create your own WHITE COLLAR JOB.
The earlier we realise that the government can never create jobs for every individual the better for us
