chrisxxx: Atlanta 96 was a joint success, Babayaro, ikpeba,Amuneke,Okocha,Oliseh,Garba lawal,West & Kanu etc all joined to make that history. If you talk about Kanu's goals what of Amuneke's Final goals in both Atlanta & Tunisia 94 nations cup? Note, some important goals were scored also in the qualifiers.Sentiments apart,Kanu is an hero but i think Atlanta 96 olympic gold is a collective effort. |

Though Colonel Odumegwu ojukwu was an hero.Biafra was indeed at the threshold of success because he has established his army, currency and things worked for close to three months with the help of Gabon,Ivory coast & few other countries but the moment he had the mind of annexing other non igbo speaking regions he became a failure,he must have regretted the action. The boundary of biafra should have stopped at Asaba at most but because of greed he marched his army to Benin and was close to Ore in Ondo state, are those areas ibo region?this is why Biafra failed. I will keep other secrets because it is not good to apportion blames.I still see Ojukwu's vision as a revolution but his execution was poor, kudos to him because he had the mind to change the course of a nation as big as nigeria within a blinking of an eye. 1 Like |

There are so many heroes in the country that we can never forget in one way or the other. I will never and can never forgot a man who brought Nigerians together in order to achieve a common goal. He gave us a platform in which we discuss any issue affecting the society and also to proffer solutions to it. Through his platform, many jobless graduates and non-graduates have gotten jobs or become employer of labour. Some many small and medium scale businesses have grown to greater heights. He gave us the one thing that the government don't want us to have, he Seun Osewa gave us FREEDOM of speech . Seun Osewa is my hero because his platform have affected lives positively directly or in directly. |
