I started with PES till FIFA 13 kidnapped me. Till date am a hard core FIFA fan but with the game-play experience on my PES 16 (and variety of patches available), I think its time to go back to mama .

I just went to metacritic and I conclude that it is boolshyte.

Metacritic has more positive critics' reviews for FIFA than PES

So, FIFA has 25 positive while PES has 7 positive.

The balance is missing. The Guardian gave FIFA 2016 on xbox one 100/100!!! And metacritic added it!!!


The metascore for FIFA 16 on Xbox one is 86 while PES 2016 is 85......not much difference.

IGN has always been bias about this PES and FIFA things since ages. Last year they did the same thing and the year before, rating fifa low always. Fifa 16 is great and better than the pes 16 in many number of ways, from the Graphics fidelity, the commentary, the player model, celebration, and the ultimate FUT. Pes 16 on the other hand is cool and i will say the best Konami have created in recent times, but its still some few years behind Fifa.

Gameplay....all the things you mention are secondary. Gameplay is the primary issue here.

The gameplay in this years FIFA is nothing special. It is okay but not much of an improvement on last year. Just tweaks

PES 16's gameplay is as straightforward as ever. It is so intuitive that even FIFA gamers can play and understand it


You claim that IGN is biased for PES? What about Kotaku? What about other videogame sites that either rate PES higher or give them equal footing?

From what I gathered from this thread it seems that Fifa is still rated better than pes cos of the number of critics in favor of FIFA than pes. But I have finally decided. I'm getting both!

lol..i am a die hard pes player and fan..but fifa16 won more awards...pes2016 won just gamescom a at the e3 event this year..fifa won 10awards including meta critic..the female teams killed it
