No at all. OGIAMIEN and OGIAME are both Edo words but separate meaning.

Evian was the younger brother of Owodo. and mark it the only brother of Owodo, This brings us to the Ogiso Oliha quarrel. Qgiso Evian made his son heir Apparent and Oliha broke ranks in the King making process because Evian had prospered and his wealth extended beyond Benin. He spread rumour that the childless Owodo had a child which Evian disputed however he Evian asked for proof. (It should be noted that Evian was crowned Ogiso after Oliha and some chiefs misled him and chased him out of benin and Owodo died in exile. After this different calamities befell benin some include incest, sicknesses such as plagues etc The same Oliha begged Evian to ascend the throne and he killed the monster giant who was the captain of the Udo army that was carrying off young ladies in the market) The same Oliha sets out to Uhe (Ile Ife) and brings Omonayan (Oromiyan) however he fails to speak Benin language instead Evian demanded for Oduduwa (Izoduwa) and vowed that if he could speak the language he would vacate the throne. Evian chases out Oranmiyan from his presence but establishes him in Uselu. Ogiamien ancestral story had it that Oliha dare not bring Oduduwa to benin because he was full blooded yoruba and could not speak the language. This means that the benin people will revolt against him on finding out. Evian was suceeded by Ogiso Irebor Ogiamien. Other issues that were disputed and are still today are 1. Inability to prove that the Eweka Dynasty is a prince in Ogiso Family (Ogiamien is the only surviving prince in Ogiso Family House) 2. The Edion of Benin considered the dispute a purely family matter and begged that Ogiamien should sell the land of Benin to the Oba for there to be peace which he did and gave Eweka only Ogbe 3. That till date it is only Ogiamien that has his own set of chiefs he has even his own Oliha 4. That Ogiamien is not a palace chief nor is any of his chiefs. 5. Ogiamien Palace is the Oldest standing structure in the whole of Edo state the source of all Edo Authority 6. The door we have for the Oba on the Ogiamien Palace wall requires that he bends to enter the palace.. Dear Richard you dont need to believe it, that is the story of Ogiamien Family. Note Ogiamien family is not in contention with anybody or the yoruba leadership that currently has identity crisis and is ruling Benin Today.
