Awesomeking:
the video has been out for years now fella.

the song was already a hit and even the song of that year through which I.D Cabasa bagged producer of the year before the video even came out, so d video had little effect on it, infact the video didn't do d song any justice but dulled it's flavour just as some other music videos do e.g: wonder by wizkid, photocopy by 9ice, jaiye-jaiye by wizkid etc....ds songs were club bangers but their videos fvcked dem up.

do you actually write songs? if you do we could hit the studio and see what we can come up with for me cos I gat an amazing voice but lack d rhythm and catchy flows and lyrics. I think 200k is okay by me....whayasay?!

The writer doesn't know about video productions. No camera is called D7, its 7D. And the 7D camera was launched before MK11 and MK111, which he claimed dj tee was using before clarence came. No brags' met clarence a couple of tyms n I worked closely with Unlimited LA. DJ tee trained Clarence before he went to S.A to learn and he also trained Unlimited L.A his cousin. DJ tee is the hype william of nigeria.

Note: Not all videos are expensive.

They made sense and passed good massages far better than all this trash that millions are spent on all we see is naked girls and the lyrics are always bragging about cars and worths

None of those without a video blow as in real blow pass holla at ya boy. This time around you need a video to support your hit song, competition is rife.

Though to me I don't count such as a real hit song. Can you compare such song to wizkid ojuelegba, olamide, shakiti bobo, flavor ashawo, psquare chop my money, lil kesh shoki, davido aiye? No! However the kokoma song still has a video.

Nigga Raw(Now Mr. Raw) sold millions of copies of his 'Obodo' Album without a single video.

what matters is hit song not quality video. quality video with poor song will not sell.

You really don't have to spend so much to have a very good video ... The clarity of your video is based on the camera and the video editing. Beyonce has used an iphone to shoot a video before and the quality was awesome so you really have no reason to say you need as much as millions to shoot a good video ... Companies like Avid Group have done a couple of videos for upcoming acts at a very cheap rate and the quality has been nothing but spotless. to get to Avid Group mail them at AvidGroupWorldwide@gmail.com ...

Watch the original video of CoCo and then the TV version.

Tell us what you think.

Am not sure the point is to sell - with videos.

I believe videos are used to 'consolidate' a strong position...to create an impression really.

Sometime, around 2006, some PH guy named Sky B released a hit titled "Ma Babé" or something like that.

The song was fvck'n, by the standard of the day.

Then a little while later, he released an atrocious video, with 'secondary school' girls, dancing kelekedinma.

Am not sure I've ever been that disappointed before.

Dude never recovered from it.
