Please house what could be the problem with my golf4 manual transmission, it gets stuck at the fift gear on the highway and each time this happens I'll need to park yo get it released. |

It like you dont deal with d gear box when you go for service. Every time you service your car, gear oil is also important as the engine oil. So, get to any service station and tell them to cheq d level of your gear oil, then dey need to top it. If there is no free movement when changing gear, it will get rust and develop serious issue. Manual transmission is completly diff frm auto. |

ib4babes: Sounds like faulty shift-seloids usually caused by lack of service on auto transmissions. But at this stage now, just pray ur tranny can be saved. try to get ur tranny scanned to avoid trial n error things. 1 Like |
