Currently, etisalat has the Cheapest rates for making calls and MTN has the most expensive. The evidence is listed below with links to the networks websites were the information was gotten from. Please note I am not comparing quality of the networks. I am comparing the call rates of each networks cheapest non subscription price plan! Cheapest: 1. Etisalat is the Cheapest (0.40 kobo per second to all networks peak and off peak) http://www.etisalat.com.ng/easypricing.php 2. GLO WITHIN GLO NETWORK PEAK: 48k/sec OFF PEAK 40k/sec Calling to other networks is 70k/sec http://www.gloworld.com/content.aspx?id=7&Cn=GloMobile 3. Zain Calling to all networks PEAK:[/b]0.66k/sec[b]OFF PEAK 0.39k/sec http://www.ng.zain.com/en/personal-plans/tariffs-and-topup/index.html 4. Mtn is the most expensive although they have the best quality. Call MTN2MTN @53k/sec (43k off peak rate) Calls to other networks 0.70k/sec (CALL 556 and navigate to tarrifs) http://www.mtnonline.com/xtracool/index.aspx PLEASE NOTE AGAIN I AM COMPARING THE CALL RATES OF THE CHEAPEST NON SUBSCRIPTION CALLING PLAN OF EACH NETWORK ONLY. Even though MTN is the most expensive, they are the only network with a 3.5G network followed by GLO with a 3g network, the other networks are still old fashioned on a 2g network. |
