Infinite Warfare DLC 2 is now available on Xbox One and PC
after a month’s long wait while the content was on
PlayStation 4 exclusively. This second installment of DLC
includes a new Zombies mode in “Shaolin Shuffle,” as well as four new competitive multiplayer maps.

The Continuum DLC for Infinite Warfare features Turista,
Scrap, Archive, and Excess as the four multiplayer maps
added to the rotation. Excess is a fan-favorite map re-
imagined for the new Call of Duty. Fans of Modern Warfare 2 will remember it as “Rust.” One of the more popular maps in that game if only for the sheer chaos possible because of its small size

Xbox Live will be on a free trial of sorts from May 18th
through May 21st, where anyone can play multiplayer in any game they own. During what Microsoft’s calling “Multiplayer All Access” Minecraft Xbox One Edition will also be free to play during the trial weekend.

Xbox Live free multiplayer weekends aren’t anything out of
the ordinary. Microsoft regularly hosts these events to
hopefully entice that rare breed of person that owns an
Xbox One without Xbox Live. I suppose the hope is to
wrangle in those stragglers who refuse to pay up for the
service.

Scalebound could very well be a game that’s back in play for Microsoft and the Xbox One if new rumors hold true. Despite a recent cancellation of the project, it appears that Microsoft has renewed the rights to this game per a trademark extension.
One of the things that had Xbox One owners so excited about the game is that it was going to be an exclusive, of course. But, it was also a Platinum Games project, who have a pretty good track record when it comes to innovation on new IP.
Rumors suggest, however, that this trademark extension is Microsoft staking their claim on the rights to put out a Scalebound game in the future, with or without Platinum Games at the helm. They certainly have the resources at Microsoft Studios to take Platinum’s foundation and build off of that premise.

Tennis World Tour, what is being called a spirtual successor
to the Top Spin games is being developed for release in 2018 on both consoles and PC. For fans of the Top Spin series, today’s announcement reveals that not only is this a
“spirtual successor,” but that developers of those games
have been brought in to work on Tennis World Tour.

The game is being developed by Bigben and Breakpoint, the
first details from the announcement reveal a couple of
features to expect. Tennis World Tour will allow players to
play through the careers of more than 30 playable tennis
stars, these include Roger Federer, Gael Monfils, Angelique

though as you can see above Bandai is recommending the

Electronic Arts is throwing a lot of development talent at the
sequel. Criterion is handling space battles. DICE is working
on multiplayer, while EA Motive is handling the campaign.
One of the major complaints about the reboot of Star Wars:
Battlefront was in a lack of content for the game.

It does not sound like this is going to be the same situation
when the Star Wars Battlefront 2 launches later this year.
The game is slated for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on
November 17th.

Alongside a bevy of sales figures and one high profile delay, Take Two Interactive also revealed that they’re not quite ready to give up on the WWE series just yet. In fact, WWE 2K18 will arrive this fall, according to the financial report from the company.
It’s not that the WWE 2K series is selling bad. The latest iteration WWE 2K17 sold approximately 3 million copies. In the product release schedule for fall 2017, WWE 2K18 is listed for what seems like its regularly scheduled arrival. With NBA 2K18 slated for September 19th, the 2K wrestling game will arrive on a date that’s yet to be revealed but sometime in the fall.
