Easy-Peasy Chicken Noodle Soup

Ingredients

2 tablespoons butter, unsalted
1 cup carrots, sliced
½ cup celery, sliced
½ cup onion, diced
8 cups chicken broth
2 cooked and shredded chicken breasts
3 cups egg noodles
½ teaspoon basil
½ teaspoon oregano
½ teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon garlic powder
¼ teaspoon pepper


Preparation

Cook the carrots, celery and onion over medium heat in the butter for about 5 minutes in a large pot. Add the chicken broth, chicken, noodles and all of the seasonings, stirring well to combine. Bring to a boil, and then simmer for about 20 minutes. Serve hot.
