The full list of the players gunning to win the Ballon d’Or has been published with a few surprises to the list. Spain’s top clubs Barcelona and Real Madrid were well represented in the list with Italian side Juventus also well represented with six players with the Premier League and Bundesliga also notably represented. However, they were a few surprises on the list with Championship side QPR,s midfielder Massimo Luongo and many other not so prominent players making the shortlist.
