If you want to live in peace, enjoy a happy home and bask in the euphoria of the love and adoration of your spouse; you need to learn how to intentionally forgive. After all, if God can forgive us and erase our sins like it never happened, we should be able to forgive anyone that offend us. Right? You and I know that, that is easier said than done. It is a sad thing that the closest person to us hurts us more than anyone else. At times, it is like a dagger been thrown straight into our hearts. Painful, isn't it? But, if you want to remain sane and enjoy your marriage, you just have to do it. Forgiveness actually purifies your soul, yes, you might still be hurting, but, it keeps your physical body healthy, and whatever you ask God in prayer, you can be rest assured that He will answer you. So just let go. It doesn't matter what he or she or they have done to you. Let go and let God. Forgiving is the bestest gift you can give yourself and others.
