The 2015 edition of The African Muzik Magazine Awards, AFRIMMA held last night at the Academy of Black Letters in Dallas, Texas. Pop stars, Davido and Wizkid scooped the awards for ‘Best Male (West Africa)’ and ‘Best Video’ while sonorous songstress, Yemi Alade won the gong for ‘Best Female (West Africa)’. Tanzanian music act, Diamond Platnumz won ‘Best Male (East Africa)’, ‘Best Dance Video’ and the ‘Artist of the Year’ category. The event was hosted by top comic acts, Basketmouth and Ann Kansiime while singer, Emma Nyra hosted the red carpet. See the list of winners below.
