PALPITATION
A sensation in which a person is aware of an irregular, hard or rapid heartbeat.
COMMON CAUSES
Often cause of heart palpitation can't be found. Some common causes are
1. Use of illicit drugs (marijuana, cocaine, amphetamines).
2. Stress or Anxiety
3. Consumption of caffeine, nicotine
4. Fever. 5. Strenuous exercise
6. Structural abnormalities of the heart and narrowing of arteries can affect blood flow to the heart muscle result in heart beat abnormalities.
7. Occasionally it can be a sign of serious problem. Such as overactive thyroid gland or abnormal heart rhythm.
8. Anemia.
SYMPTOMS
1. A sensation of fullness in the throat is not uncommon and may be associated with shortness of breath, this symptom often accompanies palpitation.
2. Dizziness and fainting may accompany some heart rhythm problem, if you experience this symptom, it is advisable to seek immediate medical attention.
3. In cases where palpitation occur for prolonged periods you may experience chest pain, sweating, nausea.

1. High level of stress can contribute to various health like heart disease or hypertension that may cause palpitation so try to make effort to cut stress and relax.
