The recent research used 168 subjects who had a mean age of 57 years. The research found out the following interesting things.

Vaginal Canal
The range of the vaginal canal length is between 6 and 12 centimeters with an average length of 9.6 centimeters. As such, the probability of your vagina width and length falling within normal range is high. And of course, the size of the vagina adjusts in response to sexual intercourse and childbirth as a way for the body to adjust to the changes that come along with the events.

Labia Minora
The Labia minora is the small fold of flesh that surrounds the opening of the vagina. The research by McFadden found out that the vagina measured an average of 2.1 centimeters in width. The labia minora also had a range of 0.4 to 6.4 centimeters. The right side of the labia minora measured an average of 1.9 centimeters wide. In terms of length, the labia minora measured about 4.0 centimeters and had a range of 1.2 to 7.5 centimeters.

The interesting thing about this is that the labia minora comes in different length for different women just as both sides of it seems to have different lengths. As such, both sides of the labia minora may come in different lengths and should not be a cause to worry except you experience discomfort during sex. Labia Majora

The labia Majora are the thick fold of flesh that cover the labia minora. Because of their thick folds, they provide some form of aesthetic covering for the external reproductive anatomy of females. The Ohio university research found out that the labia majora of females measure between 4.0 to 11.5 centimeters with an average of 8.1 centimeters. As women grow older however, both the labia majora and minora shrinks and become smaller.

Clitoris
It is important to note that a lot of variation exists regarding the female anatomy. The study also found out that a lot of variation exists between the clitoris of various females. The average length of the clitoris was 0.8 centimeters and a range of 0.2 to 2.5 centimeters. The study found women that had a clitoral length of 0.4 to 4.0 centimeters. One interesting fact regarding clitoral length is that the longer the clitoral width, the higher the chances of the person experiencing an orgasm during sexual intercourse. As such, if you frequently experience an orgasm, chances are you have a wider and longer clitoris than other women.
