Double Chief Wilson Brume Ejeben, the CEO of Wilson Ejeben Foundation has again added another feather to his crown by winning the prestigious 2015 Community Developer of year Award. The Award was given to him by the Newwaves Innovations who are the Organizers of the Nigeria Advancement Awards which took place at Transcorp Hilton Abuja yesterday Wednesday 21st 2015.

According to the Chairman Award Screening Committee, Rex Idaminabo the Community Developer of year award was in recognition of the excellent and exceptional contributions of Double Chief Wilson Ejeben to the advancement of Nigeria and the positive values of Chief Ejeben cum his exemplary leadership qualities which are worthy of emulation by all and sundry.

Idaminabo further disclosed that the nomination of Double Chief Ejeben and subsequent winning of the 2015 Community Developer of the year Award was in recognition of his unfathomable and outstanding humanitarian selfless services rendered to the less privileged.

The organizers of the event stated that projects embarked upon by Double Ejeben which necessitated the Award are: The renovation, of the Udu Bridge, provision of free medical care, provision of water to Aladja primary School and renovation of the said School toilet, building of male and female convenience to Living Faith Church Aladja, supply of wheel chairs to the physically challenged persons in Aladja, Port Harcourt and Ondo state, provision of over 30 pairs of Safety Boots to Aladja Vigilante Group, sinking of three boreholes in Aladja community ,Double Chief Wilson Brume Ejeben through the instrumentality of the Ejeben Foundation on Friday 17th July 2015 donated food items worth thousands of naira to the Old People's Home located at Harbour Road Port Harcourt Town Rivers State., Donation of water borehole to Gods Care Orphanage Home at Otor-Udu in Udu LGA of Delta State, , provision of complete Computer set to the Ovie of Udu Kingdom and the Urhobo Interest Initiative Group, Donation of Wheelchair, Walking Crutches and One Hundred Thousand Naira To Mrs. Akporode At DELSUTH Oghara. among other projects too numerous to mention.

In a brief acceptance speech, Double Chief Ejeben thanked God and the organizers for making him to part of the 2015 Nigeria Advancement Award. While dedicating the Award to God, The Ovie of Udu Kingdom, The Olugbo of Ugbo Kingdom and to the Ejeben Foundation, the Isio of the Udu Kingdom and Bobaselu of Ugbo Kingdom stated that the award would futher spur him to do more for humanity because it is good to give back to the society. The CEO of Wiltro Oil also use the medium to call on all and sundry to work assiduously in order for them to attract meaningful development to their immediate Communities.

Senator Abdullahi Wamako a two times Governor of Sokoto State and a current Senator representing Sokoto who presented the award to Double Ejeben on behalf of the organizers referred Chief Ejeben as a rare gem who is worthy of emulation by all Deltans and Nigerians in general.

Other recipients of the Nigeria Advancement Awards alongside Double Chief Ejeben were Senator Dino Melaye, Chairman, Senate Committee on Information, The Vice Chancellor National Open University of Nigeria Prof. Vincent Tenebe, MTN Foundation, AIT News, TVC, News among others.
