There are many different ways to meditate. This method systematically searches each verse to reveal its relation to: sins to confess or avoid, God's promises, examples to follow, commands to obey, and knowledge we may learn of God.

Three separate instances in the Bible tell how we can be blessed and be prosperous in all that we do:

``Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly,
Nor stands in the path of sinners,
Nor sits in the seat of the scornful;
But his delight is in the law of the LORD,
and in His law he meditates day and night.
He shall be like a tree Planted by the rivers of water,
that brings forth its fuit in its season,
whose leaf does not wither;
and whatever he does shall prosper.''
Psalm 1:2-3 ``This book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth,
but you shall MEDITATE in it day and night,
that you may observe to DO
according to all that is written in it.
For then you will make your way prosperous,
and then you will have good success.''
Joshua 1:8 ``But he who looks into the perfect law of liberty
and continues in it,
and is not a forgetful hearer
but a doer of the work,
this one will be blessed in what he does.''
James 1:25
