Lekki Phase 1 known for its flamboyant lifestyle is experiencing total blackout for the past one week. Residents who couldnt hide their disappointment attributed to the prolonged darkness in the neighbourhood as a result of negligence in the part of Power Holding Corporation of Nigeria. One angry resident, Miss Comfort Akpan, said "for the past one month the light situation in Lekki Phase one has bern so terrible, in the last one week PHCN , hasnt even blinked the light.We appeal to the Government and the Lekki Residents association to do something about this", she lamented.
