I swear ...i use a umi iron...d camera and sound quality is bad...i swear ....no lie..bad camera and sound quality...all oda tinz re good

I bought it last week...hope dis info helps others..do not be a victim of bad camera and sound quality

What version of UMI firmware are you using? v1.5, v1.6 or v1.7? I use same and no issue with the device. My only grouse is with the flash led color - rose gold Note that you can upgrade easily using the RootJoy application that comes with it. All versions of firmware available through it.

I just went to their official website for dat rootjoy stuff and the comments about that rootjoy sh*t aint funny...some pipz are complaining about a firmware brick...@bigtt76 i need more info bout how u did urs..

I just installed the RootJoy app on my laptop, connected my phone to the laptop and RootJoy detected it, I clicked on Flash Device, got the option to search for the updates, it did and I selected v1.7 left the fone to do its tin. If you don't disturb the phone during installation I guess it won't brick. If you're scared then avoid it.

Battery is not removable except you unscrew the back cover and detach cable connecting battery to the main board. This means its not like the normal removable battery.

Phone batteries usage time should not be tested based on rigorous usage tests that looks more or less like a reliability test of device. If a device has 10000mAH and you subject it to 24 hours of gbo-gbo browsing of course it won't last.

Manufacturers in trying to get the best battery fit for a device take into consideration the fact that average use of the phone should more or less be like 12 hours which it does well. On stand-by (no use at all) it should do like 72 hours.

Do you know also that during the course of use, the processor chip dissipates heat? And if not allowed to cool down properly can result in it burning out?

A mobile device is not meant to REPLACE entirely a computer desktop, laptop or even TV, so asking if it can last several hours of watching music video or movies or heavy browsing ....it does not add up. Several factors are involved here that affects battery usage time - heat dissipated, network connectivity.

If I have a phone with 3150mAH battery and it doesn't do 12 hours of use on average then I have cause to worry. UMI Iron does a bit more than that.

Alright then thanks,i simply asked because have used both the gionee m2 and m3 and of recently the elephone p3000s and elephone P7000 and the battery on the gionee last more than i can imagine,whereas the battery on the elephone sucks the battery is noting to write home about at all thats why am a bit worried...though the gionne m series have more higher battery capacity than the elephones , like for example if u used up your battery till 1% and and put another charged spare battery that was 1000% full in it it it drops the battery to 1%...which is a total turn off..

Please clarify more on the embolden ...If I understand this correctly, it looks like a device hardware problem
