Gael Clichy and Fabian Delph are in Manchester City's squad to face Sevilla in Tuesday's Champions League match.

Full-back Clichy has overcome an ankle problem, while midfielder Delph has been out since September after injuring his hamstring playing for England.

Midfielder David Silva misses out as he continues to recover from an ankle injury he sustained in October.

Striker Sergio Aguero and full-back Pablo Zabaleta will definitely miss the trip to Spain.

Sevilla coach Unai Emery will be without Kevin Gameiro for City's visit after the French forward came off with a muscle injury against Villarreal on Saturday. He is likely to be replaced up front by former Spain striker Fernando Llorente.

City defeated the Europa League champions 2-1 when the teams met two weeks ago. They are currently second in Group D a point behind Juventus who have seven, and three ahead of their Spanish opponents.

Coach Manuel Pellegrini's side can qualify for the knockout stages with two games to spare if they win and if Juve beat Borussia Monchengladbach in the other fixture on Tuesday.

"I think it's very important for the team to try to win because, depending on what happens in the other game, we could be in the next stage," said Chilean Pellegrini.

"If we have a good result tomorrow, we must then try to win the group in our remaining two games.

"This team is not prepared to try to draw - we won't start the game thinking it's a good point."
