A man died and left a year old baby , legally married o but the wife is not the next of kin.
Is it right for the brother (nok) and their parents to share from the guy benefits @ work with this little child ?

For me, its not right at all. The wife that was legally married to the man inherits everything except if there was a will prepared by the man clearly stating who gets what from what is left of his property.
But you know we are in Nigeria where relatives want to claim ownership of the deceased's properties by fire by force in the name of tradition or what have you. So terrible .

The man's property should be for the wife and child.

For the family members to share,it is right so long as dey support in responsibility of taking care of the kid.

Tell d wife not to worry, dey only made her life easier.
She should make sure that everybody dat ate out of it will be life-long investors in the boys life.

The child should be the next of kin with a neutral person as an executor of the man's money. The man's aged parents should also be taken care of from the proceeds. However the child is the most important that everyone should be concerned with. The man's relatives with or without what he left behind ought to ensure that child is well catered for.
The fear of most relatives is that the wife will remarry and carry away their brother's money to another man/ family. That's why I said a neutral person should be in charge of the money left behind. It's just unfortunate that most people are not trustworthy with money issues.
I surely hope the wife is working though cos she's got a tough long road ahead of her.
