A thread for all Christians to share and remind themselves of what happened that converted them to Christianity. Tell your story so thatothers may benefit and come to Jesus.

I gave my life to Christ at 8 became a deist March 2013 AND came back to Christ May 4 2014. I came from a pagan background but always appreciated other religions. When I was small when the gateman in my house had evening prayers I joined him and I learned from discussions my Dad had on religion with Hindus but the gospel caught my interest. The sacrificial death on the cross is what caught my interest and my mum was so far gone apparently, she was still pretending to be pagan while giing to church at my Dads back. It's one of those times I came to church that I specific all converted to Christianity.

My Dad's conversion was stunning. Especially since he argued with Christians a lot and was a convinced pagan. So imagine my surprise when one morning he wakes everybody in the house for praise and prayed and starts telling everybody he is now a Christian. B4 he went to church to go through the motions of being born again. And what changed his mind ? As he recounted, Jesus came to him in a dream and showed him sights in heaven and asked where that is where he would like to be which he said yes to. He woke up and . . . you know the rest.
