OAU'S POLITICAL YEARTIDE

A period where many political aspired candidates will vie for sundry post. Various candidates with their manifestos (mostly full of lies) and their ways of electioneering

After my arrival from vacation, i noticed some posters on various hall of residence with greetings or room number and name indicated on it, also walking between White House, I saw a black notice board that "KEEP OAU CLEAN" was written on it and name, also different kinds of social media messages with conclusion ". . . cares" and similar ones

Salaries are not paid for OAU SUG officials only for some welfare benefits they are entitled to but some political candidates are spending extravagantly to obtain these posts because of GREEDINESS and not for SACRIFICIAL SERVICE. This is how various administration are handled by businesslike politicians who thinks legitimate power is all about profit and loss.


Why? Why?? Why
Why will you vote for a candidate who just "cares" for you towards election period because of your vote
Why will you vote for a candidate who just knows you have to "keep OAU clean" all because of a political power
Why will you vote for a candidate who thinks it's time to welcome you to school with pleasant words because of your vote
Why will you vote for a person who didn't know what "sacrificial service" means or who dosen't have a good impact in his/her department
Why will you vote for an inexperienced leader or a person who dosen't know what leadership means
Why will you vote for a candidate because of mere publicity

The future of our dearest SUG is in our hands, voting because of these categories mention means we are handling over our resources to the political Judas who will sell the union for a penny

But before you vote, consider some things
His/Her impact on students, organizations & department
His/Her sacrificial service in SUG, department or organizations he/she is into
His/Her mindset on politics and so on

Say no to students illfare
Say no to political vagabonds
Say no to political Judas
Say no to future administration destroyer

Our future is in our hands
