Is everyone who doesn't believe or accept our religion an unbeliever and as such doomed for eternity in hell? When is it correct to regard someone who doesn't accept our believe as an unbeliever? What is our justification for calling them unbelivers? Some who are actually born into a particular religion actually make these claims without even understanding their own religion',,just standing under the banner of emotion and ignorance(cause ore parents,friends and loved ones are it hence it is the right path) THE TRUE MEANING OF THE WORD An unbeliever is actually some-one who knows about your religion,understands it,and is convinced about it but doesn't accept it So it is not just to label some-one an unbeliever without convincing him/her that that which you believe is the true religion Just has it is not just to give a pupil an exam on a subject you didn't teach,and label him a failure if he performs woefully in the exam,,the blame should rather be on the teacher not the pupil To conclude:it is our duty and responsibility to understand our own religion first then study others religion I.e make a comparism or a litmus test. Having been convinced that ours is the right path then it is also our duty to preach our religion to doe who are ignorant of it,not just calling them unbelievers without knowing what they believe in,and why they believe in what they believe in |

Thanks for the pieces of enlightenment. I hope Nigerians expecially will learn from someone like you. So many of them on Nairaland, only good at abuses and insulting others with different religious beliefs instead of preaching their own believe in the modest way as possible. |

BETATRON:Not some but most who are born into a particular religion believe theirs is the right religion- ignorance at its peak. Every religion starts with someone who claims he had a communication with heaven, convinces some followers and continue to spread it's message or ideology either by preaching or use of force. Like Mohammed did copy some part of the bible and introduced his own ideology and today he has so many followers. Other religions like shintoism, buddhism and Hindus also started with one person or group who start spreading his/their ideology through followers. So we need to be objective rather than label those of a different faith an unbelievers. They simply have there own believe. |

An Unbeliever is one who doesn't believe that there is man in the Sky that expects us to worship him, gave laws to us in various versions of his book, decides our fate, expects us to beg him, starve ourselves before he listens to our supplications, if we get what we want, we thank him, if we don't it's his will and he has better plans for us, if we don't believe in him he sends us to hell. |

A muslim is a believer of islam -----> to every other religion is a Non-believer A christian is a believer of Christian faith -----> to every other religion is a Non-believer A Hellenist is a believer of Hellenistic religion -----> to every other religion is a Non-believer A traditionalist is a believer in traditional beliefs -----> to every other religion is a Non-believer A Hindu is a believer in Hinduism -----> to every other religion is a Non-believer An atheist is one that is an unbeliever to all and a believer of none.. If you all find out why you don't believe all the religions around except yours, you will find out exactly why we don't believe all of them too including yours 6 Likes 6 Shares |

A nonbeliever is someone who does nt believer in Prophet Muhammad (s.a.w). because every truth believer both Christian nd Muslim believe in Jesus. |
