JOB DETAILS:
Greensprings School an international co-educational services limited comprising of Pre-school, Elementary and Secondary School seeks to hire a dynamic, talented, and energetic and result oriented Learning Support Teacher into the Secondary School English Departments of the school.

JOB FUNCTIONS:
The job functions include but are not limited to the following:
Ability to provide direct student support through one-on-one interactions with students
Ability to plan different study schedules and lesson plans for students based on their unique learning profiles so that all students are engaged and challenged and each student achieves dramatic gains
Ability to identify individual obstacles to learning and adjust their teaching approach accordingly
Ability to tracks students progress and bring parents into the loop so they can bolster the education plan at home.
Ability to identification diverse student needs and collaborative efforts with the head of learning support and other teachers to assist the student’s progress
Collaborating with the classroom teacher to define appropriate activities for the pupils in relation to the curriculum
Assessing children who have long or short-term learning difficulties and working with colleagues to identify individual pupils' special needs
Working closely with parents and guardians, updating and maintaining records of pupils' progress;
Assumes other responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor


JOB REQUIREMENTS:
EXPERIENCE: Candidate should possess atleast 3 years active teaching and cognate experience.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION: B.A/B.ED in English (A degree in Learning Support will be an added advantage)
CLASS OF DEGREE: Minimum of second class lower division.
SOFT SKILLS:
• Having good interpersonal skills. .
• Being patient with students.
• Having good communication skills.
• Being able to see student´s weak and strong points.
