THE FIRST LEGITIMATE TEST RESULTS OF THE APC WITH PRESIDENT BUHARI ON THE ROAD FOR AN EASY INTERNATIONAL DIS-CREDIBILITY
Since general Mohammedu Buhari became the president of Nigeria in the 2015 presidential elections against our former president Goodluck Jonathan, the world had fixed their eyes on the box called PMB with a kin interest to witness a Nigeria that will be enjoying change in all ramifications of life via its economic and social stability respectively.
It is very understandable to know that p[resident Buhari took off as Nigeria’s president in a time when our nation requires an international support in the areas of economic stability, corruption and the respect for the rule of law.
So far so well, we have seen the serious support the international comity of nations have been giving Buhari as our president and these support are based on the fact that Buhari is a man of international integrity over the years.
He’s antecedence as peoples oriented crusader has been the major values for the name tag he is enjoying today as president of Nigeria in the eyes of the civilized world.
Nigeria is undergoing a serious reconstruction and these is another major reason why money is not in circulation which thereby causing a little hardship on Nigerians who survive by a hand to mouth style of life.
President Buhari has started well by making sure the system is cleansed up so that when his economic team unleashes their economic policy it can be administered positively by the right men and this is said to be the style of making sure that its policies are effective with the right hands on desk.
It is noticed that anytime a new president is sworn into power in Nigeria the first and foremost thing to do is to travel around the world to introduce his economic policy and commitment to the civilized nations who are already on ground to support Nigeria as a nation on the move and we have practically seen all these and more as our president travels to attend special meetings and conference session to address heads of nations in requesting on how Nigeria would be supported to work the talk for the great march in march.
Practically, President Buhari has marked out areas of concentration in the four (4) years of his first tenor as democratically elected president of Nigeria and as far as we are concerned we have also witness that he is honestly enjoying the great support of the international communities to the highest points in with funds and expatriates advise in economic recovery and the stability in social values plus the rated security of lives, properties and the fight against corruption and terrorism.
But come to think of other matters and issues effecting the polity of our democracy, take for example the kogi state governorship elections saga where there’s a breach in context in delay of instant action statement by the party on against the legality and illegality of a standing candidates for the supplementary elections which was caused by natural issues in the death of the former APC candidate Prince Audu Abubakar.
On the issue, it is very correct and certain that we have here for us all to see a clear case of victory for an individual who is constitutionally the legitimate person to replace the APC flag bearer in a supplementary election slated for the 5th of December in kogi state by INEC.
By the electoral laws of Nigeria it is very clear that ALHAJI YAHAYA BELLO stood for the APC primary elections in lokoja against other candidates of the party. And that the late Prince Audu won and became the flag bearer of the party in the inconclusive elections thereby producing an opportunity for supplementary elections.
In a clear terms and for the respect of the rule of law in Nigeria, is it not a hidden agenda in the APC that YAHAYA BELLO’s name has since not been used in replacing the name of the dead Prince Audu?
Our question is that since INEC had called out a date for the supplementary elections and by law the party is hereby expected to act with the provisions of the law binding the date of the supplementary elections to present their new candidate as a replacement for the elections which also provides that it must be done within a specified period of 30 days to INEC to an election and with an advertorial of the name and photos of the said representative of the party?
This implication has left the APC with no choice then the choice of retuning their pen and paper to the primary elections that brought late Prince Audu to stand as the first party legitimate flag bearer of the APC in the general elections before he died.
According to that same said APC primary elections held in lokoja that Yahaya Bello took second in the primaries against late prince Audu and others so he should be presented as the party’s candidate in place of Prince Audu as the law refers just to promote the values of the rule of law in Nigeria.
We wondered if former president Goodluck Jonathan refused to respect the rule of law in the INEC’s results that brought president Buhari as the duly elected president of Nigeria by remaining in power and appealing the case in a court of law.
Maybe by now we might not have PMB as our president today. So on this note which provides president Buhari as the leader of the APC to bring the attention of the national working committee of the party to present the legitimate candidate in the person of Yahaya Bello as the replacement of the late Prince Audu in the fort coming kogi state governorship supplementary elections without any further delay.
The love, respect and admirations that former president Goodluck Jonathan is enjoying today plays back to his role as a saying president who lost election, defeated and conceded and handed over to the legitimate winner of the 2015 presidential elections.
If PMB as the leader of the APC refuses to give the consideration orders to the APC to present Yahaya Bello as the legitimate candidate for the kogi supplementary elections the international community will surly withdraw the credibility values for the respect for the rule of law attached to PMB as a person and president of Nigeria and as a former opposition leader in the politics of Nigeria.
PMB is enjoying a robust respect and the whole world will know that the change the APC is preaching are all huge lies if the legitimate person is not presented and the people of Nigeria will stand up against all odds.
By our laws Yahaya Bello is the only legitimate candidate of the kogi state governorship supplementary elections and MUST be presented by the party under the capable leadership of president Buhari as the leader of the APC who was also a presidential candidate and flag bearer of the APC in the 2015 presidential elections, and is also enjoying the mandate given to APC by Nigerians who WANTED CHANGE by all means.
President Buhari should also save Nigeria by urgently look into the areas of his actions as the APC leader with a drastic perimeters and on his personal integrity which can be tarnished for a clear case of victory for Yahaya Bello such as this.
If the legitimate candidate is not presented as the APC kogi state governorship supplementary election in the person of Yahaya Bello it’s a total shame to the leadership of the APC with all its ramifications.
Let all tribal values be kept aside as our constitution has the greatest authority to move the legal and illegal issues to a positive conclusion with values which shall be a reference point tomorrow for our children’s children in history.
This legality and illegality issue of the kogi state supplementary candidacy will basically create an out burst in the party if care of not taken because the APC is a set up of strange bird followers like a pot on the benchmark of explosion designed like a time bomb.
