Nollywood actor, Bobby Obodo, has expressed his concern over the recent state of the Nigerian economy and has reached out to the president through his social media page to allow them (the youths) help him. Below is his message to Mr. President:

This is d state of Nigeria, Mr. President @MBuhari. I took a drive to some gas stations earlier in d day. U can’t be considered human if d sights at d gas stations dnt break ur heart; frm exorbitant pump prices, hoarding of fuel, to many hours waiting to BUY fuel (for d stations that decide to sell). Living d experience of my ppl makes it all d more imperative dat u tell us, the youths: how can we be of HELP, sir? It’s not enuff to ask the youths to “play their part”. Those “parts” shld be clearly articulated & backed w forms of empowerment. because many of these ppl r clueless as to what to do. The ppl I talked to today r fed up w their lives/current situation. Many of such feelings inevitably equal taking to arms/armed robbery/etc. Sir, most of ur appointed Ministers need to be on ground. That way, they have first-hand experience of what their employers (d citizens) r going thru. These difficult daily realities can’t be swept under the carpet. EMPOWER THE YOUTHS, Mr. President. GIVE US MANDATES.
