Former Chairman/Chief Executive of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA), Alhaji Ahmadu Giade has been accused by his staff of protecting drug barons in Nigeria while in office. A Chief Superintendent of Narcotics with the NDLEA, Mr. Paul Audu in a petition to President Buhari revealed that he had arrested a popular drug baron and was about to arrest four others when he was suddenly posted out of Lagos by Alhaji Ahmadu Giade. Paul Audu claimed he arrested a wanted international drug baron called Akindele Ikumukoyi in Lagos after about two years surveillance.
