Hottest wrestling matches ever – Among the Internet Wrestling Community, it seems like bad form to ever admit that any female wrestler is good looking, or God forbid, sexy. The IWC tries to position itself as an expert group who is above seeing a woman as anything other than competitors, just like their male counterparts.

The IWC is a pretentious bunch that puts themselves at a level above regular wrestling fans, but thankfully, Vince McMahon and his fellow promoters have always programmed for the regular guy, not the enlightened connoisseurs. The rest of us don’t mind a little flirting with our wrestling. The rest of us don’t mind a few double entendres and the rest of us don’t mind seeing a little skin. We’re wrestling fans, but we’re also normal human beings. We’ll take our wrestling with sexiness, please. Most of the time, the sexy parts of the show happen during interviews, backstage segments and in pre-taped vignettes. When the sexy stuff did make it to the ring, it was often in the shape of bikini contests, dance-offs, arm wrestling matches, or in the case of Edge and Lita, a live sex celebration. You wouldn’t know it by watching the WWE today, because they’re extinct, but sexy wrestling matches were a vital part of the Attitude Era, and of every wrestling company back in the late 1990s into the early part of the millennium. 15. Velvet Sky vs. Lacey Von Erich

On the December 10, 2009 episode of TNA Impact, the company looked the WWE of 10 years earlier when it put Velvet Sky and Lacey Von Erich into a mud wrestling match with Madison Rayne as your guest referee. Specialty gimmick matches are always a dicey proposition, usually exposing the combatants weaknesses and this was one such match. It looked horrible and since it’s they’re on a basic cable station, it was never going to head into R-Rated territory. For those wondering, Bubba Ray Dudley’s girlfriend pinned Kerry Von Erich’s daughter while commentators Mike Tenay and Taz looked like they were waiting for a storm in raincoats and umbrellas. Still, two hot women rolling around in the mud is pretty sexy.

14. Torrie Wilson vs. Stacy Keibler



This classic took place at No Mercy in 2001, with David Meltzer giving it four-and-a-half stars. Just kidding. A lingerie match between two women who barely learned to take a bump was high on sexiness but low on anything that looked like wrestling. Had either of these women stuck around in the WWE and put the effort into learning their craft, they could have had a career that rivaled Trish Stratus, but Keibler decided to date George Clooney and make a handful of guest starring appearances on television show and Wilson left to pursue a relationship with Alex Rodriguez of the New York Yankees. That would have been one heck of a mixed-tag team match.

13. Sable vs. Luna Vachon



If you’re ever asked when the WWE took that interesting, yet sexy, left turn into specialty matches with women that were designed as little more than a quasi-violent strip show, you can point to this evening gown match, the first of its kind, which took place at WWE Unforgiven in April 1998. Luna Vachon ended up winning by stripping Sable of her clothes first, but in what became a familiar scene, the winner also had her clothing ripped off. Following the match, the two brawled in their underwear, rolling under the ring. Sable emerged with Luna’s panties, but Goldust ran down to cover Luna as she made her way out from under the ring.
