Phut: Phut, Thanks for the post. The 'ìhè' with the diacritic marks isn't the same as 'ihe'. 'ìhè' stands for brightness. For computer, in a previous translation, I put it as 'Igweuru', as an attempt to award it the everyday essentiality, it connotes. 1 Like |

scholti: What is the etymology of Ngigauwa? I feel it would be better if there is a correlation between it and the word for computer. Makes for easier learning and flow. Fossil - nhapuochie is good, but Ozuochie is better (in my estimation). Haven't gone through the whole list. Will come back with more comments, when I do. Ji shi ike 1 Like |

Phut: 'Ngigauwa' came from the Ahiajoku lectures. Ozuochie is good. The Igbo language has an enormous power of creation. The strongest word would become the headword, while the rest synonyms. Daalu. 2 Likes |
