Naaah ...sites like Punch and other online newspaper sites are actually more suited for CMS platforms rather than custom-developed but then security should always be the watch word. CMS are well secured because they get patches regularly so they are protected from the silliest of all mistakes such as SQL Injection etc but not secured from lapses created by developer in using them such as leaving visible online the admin folder to be exploited.
