The Supreme Court of Appeal on Thursday December 3, upgraded the conviction of South Africa's "Blade Runner" Oscar Pistorius to murder after finding him guilty of murdering his girlfriend. The court ruled that he should have foreseen the deadly impact his four bullets would have in a small bathroom. The appeal court verdict could see the 29-year-old former Paralympian sent back to prison for up to 15 years for which he had received a five-year sentence. Pistorius was released on parole on Oct. 19, having spent one day less than a year in prison for shooting dead model Reeva Steenkamp on Valentine's Day 2013. He was meant to serve the rest of his sentence under house arrest.
