‘Turkey will regret it’, said Vladimir Putin. In his annual Presidential Address to the Russian Federal Assembly in Moscow, he expressed surprise at the action by the important trading partner and regional power, saying he doesn’t understand why Turkey decided to shoot down a Russian fighter plane last week near the Syrian-Turkish border. “Only Allah knows why they did it [Putin stressed the Arabic name for God]. It is only a fool that will not know that Turkey will regret his action. Even America will not dare Putin in the manner Erdogan did. |
