For you to resize or convert a video using VLC media player, follow the steps outlined below:

- Launch the VLC media app and tap on Media in the Menu bar, tap on Convert/Save.

-Locate and tap on the Add button from the right side of the File selection box to load the video you want to resize or the on whose extension you want to change.

- Tap on browse to select the destination where your converted video will be saved. In the profile selection option, select from a pre-configured profile of the output or customize it by clicking on the Settings icon on its right.

-To resize, tap the Video codec tab, enter the desired width and heightin the scale option, After that, just convert the video as you normally would. You can select from a range of video/audio formats in the following dialog box if you wish to customize the output.

- Click on Start to begin the resizition/conversion.


-A bar will appear showing the progress of the process. Do not by any means stop the player as this may lead to some errors while the conversion is going on..


- At the end of the conversion, you will get the video in the size and format you have selected above..
