The welfare condition in OAU is now more appalling than you can ever imagine. Our VC is painting our demands for quality welfare as a criminal act. The university community is bathed with all sort of cholera and typhoid spots. Life in kirikiri seems more humane than what entails on our campus. Hostels meant for 4 occupants per room now accommodate not less than 15 persons, overstretching of facilities, overcrowding and over population is the order of the day. Air borne diseases spread like wild fire. Health centre is now death centre, paracetamol is their cure for all ailments, even the doctors don't wait to get full details of illness before prescribing. If you want to stop boko haram, show them life in our school, they'll know that western education is only for animals. The VC enjoys the palace life and subjects us to prison life. You have shown us the wrong pictures. Is the VC supposed to come flush your toilets for you? Can't you guys stop dumping refuse in front of your hostels? There are no children amongst you, so you should be able to take care of your environs without being forced to. What I think the VC should do is to get public health workers to come and educate you guys on the importance of living in a clean environment, and how to go about environmental sanitation.
