submit necessary credentials to any Jamb Office nearest to you and await the Online Screening registration procedures to be outlined or released by the University of Ibadan management at a later date.

thank u very much and i believe this yr will be ur turn. Jamb banned d use of one university's diploma to another university. So u can only apply to oau since u did deir diploma. Same tin applies to those that did ui's diploma.

Pls I finished from OAU school of Nursing, and the certificate awarded is Registered Nursing (RN) certificate which is mostly equivalent to Diploma. Pls can I still do my Nursing Degree in UI?

The basic criteria for selection of direct entry candidates is A good CPGA from your former school, Good Olevel Result & the status of your school. Bear it in mind that Admission into some departments via direct entry is always competitive due to large and increased number of applicants.

The next step is for you to Register the transcript forwarded to the school in the admissions register, then afterwards you'll wait for the University of Ibadan direct entry online form to be released.

Using awaiting result might reduce your chances of being admitted because of the increased number of applicants.

Please for all 2016/2017 direct entry applicants, I've received numerous distress calls from other applicants that some mischievous elements are parading themselves as "Admission Officers" and such are calling applicants as regards the university of Ibadan direct entry programme by giving them false and hoax update thereby creating tension. Please do not fall victim of these individuals. The school has not started the sale of Direct entry form, an applicant told me that someone called her saying "the form is out and it goes for 10,000" so she was scared because the person told her it was going to close soon. The way or manner in which University of Ibadan settles its own admission process is to sort out Jambites first before they proceed to sort out Direct entry candidates. So therefore if there's any update as regards University of Ibadan direct entry sale of form, it would be posted on the official school website "www.ui.edu.ng" so as it stands, the submission of Transcript is still ongoing, therefore I implore every one to remain calm. If all thing goes well, I'll add the Student's Union Public relations officer to this Whatsapp page for further updates also, if you're not yet added message me on 08180128924. Thanks and God bless.

to the best of my understanding, that's not actually true. Computer Engineering is a sub-trajectory of Electrical Engineering. That is, computer engr was originally culled from Electrical. That's why majority of the core electrical courses are taken as joint classes together with computer engineering students. So, those assertions are wrong and incorrect.
But in this case, if your CGPA ain't really strong enough, say of Distinction or something closely related, then, as a computer engineering ND graduate, you shouldn't apply for Electrical. Instead, you should apply straightaway for Computer.
Intra-departmental courses application are very well acceptable as long as it circumnavigates within the same faculty with the same course requirements.
Anyother thing is non-acceptable and perhaps, obtaining a DE Change of Course and Institution form would be a preferable resort to avert total ineligibility.
Prevention they say, is better than cure. Be smart!
