America On The Road To Marxism by TayoD1(m): 2:48pm On Jun 01, 2009
This article was written by a Russian.  Funny how the Russianns are the ones now defending the beauty of capitalism. Enjoy the read.

It must be said, that like the breaking of a great dam, the American decent into Marxism is happening with breath taking speed, against the back drop of a passive, hapless sheeple, excuse me dear reader, I meant people.

True, the situation has been well prepared on and off for the past century, especially the past twenty years. The initial testing grounds was conducted upon our Holy Russia and a bloody test it was. But we Russians would not just roll over and give up our freedoms and our souls, no matter how much money Wall Street poured into the fists of the Marxists.

Those lessons were taken and used to properly prepare the American populace for the surrender of their freedoms and souls, to the whims of their elites and betters.

First, the population was dumbed down through a politicized and substandard education system based on pop culture, rather then the classics. Americans know more about their favorite TV dramas then the drama in DC that directly affects their lives. They care more for their "right" to choke down a McDonalds burger or a BurgerKing burger than for their constitutional rights. Then they turn around and lecture us about our rights and about our "democracy". Pride blind the foolish.

Then their faith in God was destroyed, until their churches, all tens of thousands of different "branches and denominations" were for the most part little more then Sunday circuses and their televangelists and top protestant mega preachers were more then happy to sell out their souls and flocks to be on the "winning" side of one pseudo Marxist politician or another. Their flocks may complain, but when explained that they would be on the "winning" side, their flocks were ever so quick to reject Christ in hopes for earthly power. Even our Holy Orthodox churches are scandalously liberalized in America.

The final collapse has come with the election of Barack Obama. His speed in the past three months has been truly impressive. His spending and money printing has been a record setting, not just in America's short history but in the world. If this keeps up for more then another year, and there is no sign that it will not, America at best will resemble the Wiemar Republic and at worst Zimbabwe.

These past two weeks have been the most breath taking of all. First came the announcement of a planned redesign of the American Byzantine tax system, by the very thieves who used it to bankroll their thefts, loses and swindles of hundreds of billions of dollars. These make our Russian oligarchs look little more then ordinary street thugs, in comparison. Yes, the Americans have beat our own thieves in the shear volumes. Should we congratulate them?

These men, of course, are not an elected panel but made up of appointees picked from the very financial oligarchs and their henchmen who are now gorging themselves on trillions of American dollars, in one bailout after another. They are also usurping the rights, duties and powers of the American congress (parliament). Again, congress has put up little more then a whimper to their masters.

Then came Barack Obama's command that GM's (General Motor) president step down from leadership of his company. That is correct, dear reader, in the land of "pure" free markets, the American president now has the power, the self given power, to fire CEOs and we can assume other employees of private companies, at will. Come hither, go dither, the centurion commands his minions.

So it should be no surprise, that the American president has followed this up with a "bold" move of declaring that he and another group of unelected, chosen stooges will now redesign the entire automotive industry and will even be the guarantee of automobile policies. I am sure that if given the chance, they would happily try and redesign it for the whole of the world, too. Prime Minister Putin, less then two months ago, warned Obama and UK's Blair, not to follow the path to Marxism, it only leads to disaster. Apparently, even though we suffered 70 years of this Western sponsored horror show, we know nothing, as foolish, drunken Russians, so let our "wise" Anglo-Saxon fools find out the folly of their own pride.

Again, the American public has taken this with barely a whimper, but a "freeman" whimper.

So, should it be any surprise to discover that the Democratically controlled Congress of America is working on passing a new regulation that would give the American Treasury department the power to set "fair" maximum salaries, evaluate performance and control how private companies give out pay raises and bonuses? Senator Barney Franks, a social pervert basking in his homosexuality (of course, amongst the modern, enlightened American societal norm, as well as that of the general West, homosexuality is not only not a looked down upon life choice, but is often praised as a virtue) and his Marxist enlightenment, has led this effort. He stresses that this only affects companies that receive government monies, but it is retroactive and taken to a logical extreme, this would include any company or industry that has ever received a tax break or incentive.

The Russian owners of American companies and industries should look thoughtfully at this and the option of closing their facilities down and fleeing the land of the Red as fast as possible. In other words, divest while there is still value left.

The proud American will go down into his slavery with out a fight, beating his chest and proclaiming to the world, how free he really is. The world will only snicker.

Nonsense man!

Even conspiracy theorists would laugh at your link between Obama and Marxism. You need to unglue your ear from Rush Limbaugh's radio show.

@Ibime,

Do you know how to read? The warning was handed down to Blair and Obama by no other than Prime Minister Putin. You think he listens to Rush Limbaugh too?

I thought an intelligent person will adress the issues the guy mentioned. But as usual, it is an attack on personalities with a view to suppressing dissent and debate.

You are the one that needs to grow up!

First of all, your source is not credible. . . .

Second of all, Russia now practice the extreme form of capitalism with wealth concentrated at the very top. . . . how he can claim that the "redesign of the American Byzantine tax system, by the very thieves who used it to bankroll their thefts, loses and swindles of hundreds of billions of dollars. These make our Russian oligarchs look little more then ordinary street thugs, in comparison. ". . . . . . what is he trying to say. . . . that American "oligarchs" have a socialist agenda?. . . . this guy is nuts!

Third of all, Putin told Obama and Blair? Last time I checked, Gordon Brown was PM and Blair is gallavanting around the middle-east. . . .

Fourth of all, the deluded writer quotes thus: "Prime Minister Putin, less then two months ago, warned Obama and UK's Blair, not to follow the path to Marxism, it only leads to disaster. Apparently, even though we suffered 70 years of this Western sponsored horror show, we know nothing, as foolish, drunken Russians, so let our "wise" Anglo-Saxon fools find out the folly of their own pride.". . . . .  . so is he claiming the West sponsored Marxism?. . . . . and Lenin and Stalin were complicit in the Western conspiracy? . . . these guy is nothing but a bitter twisted Russian Nationalist looking to take a pop at Yankee. . . .

Fifth of all, I cannot take the writer serious with comments like this: "Senator Barney Franks, a social pervert basking in his homosexuality (of course, amongst the modern, enlightened American societal norm, as well as that of the general West, homosexuality is not only not a looked down upon life choice, but is often praised as a virtue)" . . . . . . . trust Tayo-D to scrape the bottom of the barrell and quote any psycho just to take a cheap shot at Obama. . . .

@Ibime,

This is a discussion of Obama's policies, not Russia's. If you are interested in Russia's, you might want to start a thread to discuss the issues. Trying to deflect attention to the issues raised is not gonna work.

Here's another source basically saying the same thing with the one I first posted. Us is on the road to doing exactly what failed in Russia.

Russian Prime Minister Vladamir Putin has said the US should take a lesson from the pages of Russian history and not exercise “excessive intervention in economic activity and blind faith in the state’s omnipotence”.

“In the 20th century, the Soviet Union made the state’s role absolute,” Putin said during a speech at the opening ceremony of the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland. “In the long run, this made the Soviet economy totally uncompetitive. This lesson cost us dearly. I am sure nobody wants to see it repeated.

Re: America On The Road To Marxism by TayoD1(m): 6:44pm On Jun 01, 2009
@Ibime,

The Chinese have expressed the same concern as Putin. No one wants to see the US repeat the same mistakes we see in history.

June 1 (Bloomberg) -- Another global financial crisis triggered by a loss of confidence in the dollar may be inevitable unless the U.S. saves more, said Yu Yongding, a former Chinese central bank adviser.

It’s “very natural” for the world to be concerned about the U.S. government’s spending and planned record fiscal deficit, Yu said in e-mailed comments yesterday relating to a visit to Beijing by U.S. Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner.

The Obama administration aims to reduce the fiscal deficit to “roughly” 3 percent of gross domestic product from a projected 12.9 percent this year, Geithner reaffirmed today. The treasury secretary added that China’s investments in U.S. financial assets are very safe, and that the Obama administration is committed to a strong dollar.

It may be helpful if “Geithner can show us some arithmetic,” said Yu. “We need to know how the U.S. government can achieve this objective.”

The deficit is projected to reach $1.75 trillion in the year ending Sept. 30 from last year’s $455 billion shortfall, according to the Congressional Budget Office.

The U.S. needs a higher savings rate and a smaller deficit on the current account, which is the broadest measure of trade, or “another financial crisis triggered by a dollar crisis could be inevitable,” the Chinese academic said.

The U.S. current account deficit fell to $673.3 billion or 4.74 percent of GDP last year from $731.2 billion, or 4.91 percent of GDP, the year earlier.

Global Currency

China is the biggest foreign holder of U.S. Treasuries with $768 billion as of March. Premier Wen Jiabao called in March for the U.S. “to guarantee the safety of China’s assets.” Central bank Governor Zhou Xiaochuan has proposed a new global currency to reduce reliance on the dollar.

Yu said U.S. tax revenue is not likely to increase in the short term because of low economic growth, inflexible expenditures and the cost of “fighting two wars.”

China wants to know how the U.S. will withdraw excess liquidity from its financial system “in a timely fashion so as to avoid inflation” when its economy recovers, said Yu, now a senior researcher at the government-backed Chinese Academy of Social Sciences.

He questioned whether there would be enough demand to meet U.S. debt issuance this year.

Referring to the Federal Reserve “as the world’s biggest junk investor,” and to Chairman Ben S. Bernanke as “helicopter Ben,” Yu said the Fed has dropped “tons of money from the sky since the subprime crisis.”

“The balance sheet of the Federal Reserve not only has expanded like mad but is also ridden with ‘rubbish’ assets,” he said.

Are the Chinese in on the conspiracy as well? Our media houses are so in the tank for Obama that we now have to rely on foreign govts and media to let us see the larger picture.

Old man, e be like say you don marra! tongue

What does Fed's decision to buy bad assets (made under George Bush) have to do with Obamas alleged march toward Marxism?

Your fundamental education is missing. Even staunch Conservatives like 4Play favour the bad bank approach. Govt intervention in the markets is not a new thing. Was FDR a marxist for introducing New Deal and such?

@Ibime,

All that one na story.

Like Yu Yongding said, can any of you show us the arithmetic that favours the crazy spending going on in Washington? By the way, before you embark on that, you might want to include the trillions of dollars they still plan to spend on Universal Healthcare in the equation.

Government interference in people's personal lives is really getting out of hand. All in the name of anti-terrorism. And too many dolts are being given free rein and positions of power.

White extremists are already ganging up and empowering themselves based on this problem. Texas threatened to quit the union. Alaska has elements that plan to do the same.

It may have been this bad during the anti Communism scare of the fifties, I guess.

And yes, I do see a similarity with extremist, fascist or marxist ideologies, where individualism is discouraged. Actually quite common with African mindsets, though one would be surprised if Obama has that, since he says he was raised in the US.

Even Chavez declares that he and Castro risk being more conservative than Obama - http://www.reuters.com/article/ObamaEconomy/idUSTRE5520GX20090603?feedType=RSS&feedName=ObamaEconomy&virtualBrandChannel=10441 Do all these mean anything to you?

Do you have any comment on any of the issues raised by both articles?
Re: America On The Road To Marxism by adconline(m): 9:52pm On Jun 03, 2009
when i listen to folks like Keith oberman i know that I cannot take his views as accurate because he's got a political leaning, but when you listen to folks like Rush you imbibe everything intoto. I see Jon stewart and Colbert as political entertainers but you consider folks like Rush as power house of America even though his views are in sync with minority of America.

So if Putin calls Obama a terrorist would you believe him? I already know your answer cos you believed that he was associating himself with terrorists during the campaign. Obama is a democrat and was elected to fulfil the wishes of those who voted for him (u are not included) so deal with it. I'm enjoying this ride. Define Marxism for me cos you believed in this article and you are defending it . Or do you want me to lift an article from a jihad group criticising President Obama and you would want me to believe it?. By the way PDP is accusing Obama's govt of trying to destabilize Nigeria and would you want me to cite as an evidence that America is about to cause harm to Nigeria?

Tayo-D is a prick! cheesy

How many times has Jaguar Rover been Nationalised in Britain?

What of Renault in France?

Even when they are not being nationalised, Govt is bending over backward, giving em taxpayer money to keep them viable.

Almost all countries see their automobile industry as a matter of National pride and a cornerstone of the manufacturing industry. If there is a major car company about to go bust and no buyers are found on the private market, it almost always follows that the Govt will take a controlling stake in the company.

Who first started nationalising companies? George Bush or Obama?

Only an idiot like Tayo-D would follow his textbook definitions of ideology to the bitter end.

Hugo Sanchez and Castro were just poking jabs at Yankee over Yankees opposition to forced Nationalisation in Cuba and Venezuela. It is a case of Sanchez claiming one-upmanship on Yankee. Infact Sanchez said the same about Bush turning to a socialist. It is his running joke these days.

Unfortunately the delinquent Tayo-D has swallowed so much propaganda, and is so immersed in his hatred for Obama, he has resorted to the worst form of smearing. What is more worrying is that a man of his age and supposed education has such a limited grasp of history, politics and economics that his one-track mind cannot filter information adequately. He only judges world events through the narrow prism of a world view he imbibed from some dickheads on the radio. Lack of exposure truly is a disease. I thank God for those who have been exposed to all colours of the spectrum; especially so when I bump into people like Tayo-D! grin

Finally, Environmental issues are a matter of National and World interest! It is time to incentivize the production of clean cars. And since GM is broke and keep producing gas-guzzling SUVs, its time to force em to do the right thing!

He simply watches Faux news and throws back up the crap that they feed him. He also tunes in to Limbo the uneducated fool and also believes him. Too bad after screaming with those air heads they won't let him into their good ole boys clubs. Many Red Necks hold the belief of this guy (Black Neck) because they only repeat what Billo, Pat and the likes of them that want things to be in a certain place. When changes are about to happen they start yelling communism, socialism, marxism and all the isms that can be beckoned to scare people that are easily fooled.

To say I'm dissapointed in you will be an understatement. Gone are the days when dissent is met with superior argument, but that cannot and should no longer be expected from people like you. What is the point of the personal invectives? To silence dissent or to massage your ego?

I am still waiting for someone to respond to the articles with some salient points to refute the allegations levelled in the articles, buit it appears it aint gonna come. That's okay, 'cos I know none of you's got any answers.

And now that you've started the personal abuse, one can expect other dogs to follow suit. People who can't reason for themselves but depend on following the herd. I would have been surprised if they had kept quiet.

And please, you don't have to respond to my posts on nairaland. It is not by force. You have your proclevities and I have mine. Our paths have no need to cross if it does not beget mutual respect.

I have been gracious in my response to you so far. I really feel no need to do so any more.

Our media houses are so in the tank for Obama US that we now have to rely on foreign govts and media to let us see the larger picture.

This has been an ongoing problem before President Obama sat on the throne. Foreign govts and media are not a reliable source on American perspectives but at least they give a backdrop from which to draw analysis and conclusion. The article said the populace is dumbed down with pop culture and trendy attachments. Very true. When was a time you ever find an American with a world band radio? Never! It doesn't broadcast NFL or NBA games, no NHL or MBL, no American Idol, there is no ER, no CSI. . . Almost every American have used "Timbuktou" in a phrase, so they are conversant with its usage. Well ask one to point to Timbuktou on a world map and see where the finger goes. How can we call such an individual a 'free person"? Quick to claim world greatest but slow to point to where world is on a map.

Tayo, I understand your reason for the post but I will take that article with a grain of salt, . . . without spitting out the mouthful bite. . . and you know me, I don't take news report any damn serious any way.

Another bashing of new houses by folks on the right as if they operate their own "news houses" in space. Just the way Rush bashes the media even though his reaches millions of listeners through media. Wasnt Bush accorded the same celebrity status after 9/11? Some media houses were either labelled traitors or unpatriotics when they asked hard questions about Iraq's WMD. I still remember Dan Rather' 60 Minute on Bush's military credentials.
