Productive Steps To Take If You Have Been Scammed On Ebay. by cmacs(m): 1:38pm On Dec 12, 2015
For those who don’t know eBay which I doubt if threes any one who really do not know or haven’t heard about eBay before. EBay is one of the world’s biggest marketplaces on the internet where people buy and sell either new or used products. The owners of eBay also happen to be the owners of PayPal, the world’s largest online payment system.

EBay is a relatively safe marketplace, but unfortunately, like most online marketplaces, it is vulnerable to scams.EBay tries to keep instances of scams occurring, but with more than a hundred(100) million members, and approximately $40 million moving through via transactions on the site on a daily basis as reported by EBay, “For every 2minutes, a new phone is been sold and bought”, avoiding scams cannot be totally eradicated. So, sometimes, scam occurs

But the good news is, If you have been scammed, there are certain steps you need to follow to report the incident, and maybe, just maybe try to come to a resolution as most scammers these days have become very clever, even getting eBay to support and stand for them as been right and all that, leaving unsuspecting buyers no choice than to kiss their money goodbye. You might be wondering “how possible is this?” Well, that’s not what I have come here to tell or teach you today..

If you have made payment for an item (scam) through PayPal, the first step is to login to your PayPal account and open up a dispute for the payment, but if the payment was not made through PayPal, contact your credit card company and leave the rest to them.In most cases,if you have used one of these two cases, you will recover your money.

The next step is to use eBay’s dispute process to report the seller. This is specifically for items that were not received,or items that were significantly different than what was described in the auction.EBay also has a purchase protection program to further protect buyers. If a settlement cannot be reached with the buyer, the next step is to make an eBay buyer purchase protection claim…
