Formular Translation. Apart from the fact that you start with watfor77 on dos command line, i doubt if i can write a simple hello world in fortran as we speak, the lang is too stressful. Plus there is a number of space to leave before comment, executed codes and all zat rubbish! |

@dhtml, that was quite funny, by 2001 most universities in Nigeria were still studying fortran, its a problem in our institution of higher learning where our so called lecturers who studied fortran since 1950's still teach fortran cos they are not updated with latest programming languages. Are we growing in this country? |

Well, i think you are right though, and i did pass thru Yaba College of Tech. 2000 and fortran was one of our courses at ND 1 But i think the first language to learn should be either C++ or java 'cos the world has gone OOP! |
