What are you talking about miss? seem you live abroad and dont really know much or visited some cities in Nigeria. Nigerians travel abroad has only thing in common(to hustle and make money).

People living in Lagos may be hardworking but not necessarily united and successful. Crime rate is very high In Lagos compare to other cities. Majority of people living(eapecially in mainland Lagos) are living an average or poverty lives.

Besides, economy is hard so people hustle very hard irrespective of where they live.

the Lagos pple I met here are caring
I find it annoying because its strange to me but its kinda good

they diss when u dont do well, always in ur business
where I lived in Nigeria, the people are kind of reserved, caring but not like the level Lagos people do it

all the Lagos students I have met abroad are very smart
my classmate from a non Lagos state cldnt even get into university

other students from other states in Nigeria were also smart but at least 2 or three students had an issue
either one cldnt get into university or dropped out or stayed too long in university or got kicked out from university

but all the Lagos students did well. no one was an average student or a drop out or got kicked out compared to other Nigerian students who didnt come from Lagos

something has to be done
LOOKS like everything is centered in Lagos

@onila, i got your point, it has to do with individual educational background and dedication to his/her study.

Perhaps the people you met are Yorubas(Youruba people are always caring).
