A man in Arizona has been arrested for mistakenly killing his friend while trying to wake him up with a loaded gun.According to the Chandler Police Department, 19-year-old Nathaniel Thomas tried waking up his sleeping friend, Gage Bodenheimer with his loaded gun in an attempt to scare him.

The gun killed Bodenheimer after Thomas pulled the trigger. Officers were called to the scene of the shooting at 400 N. CoronadoStreet but the suspect told police he shot an intruder.

Witnesses didn’t back up the story and Thomas finally confessed he killed his friendwhile trying to prank him.He added that he didn’t know the gun was loaded when he pressed the trigger. His friend died instantly after the shot rang out.
