The controversy behind the issuance of the
Biafra passport by the former leader of
Movement for the Actualisation of the
Sovereign State of Biafra (MASSOB) Chief
Ralph Uwazuruike may still linger for some
time.

Ohaneze Diaspora, a group made of Igbos in
the diaspora at a time observed that the
inability of the federal government to
thoroughly correct the problems and
challenges of marginalisation of the Igbos is
one of the reasons that has brought up
issues like that of the Biafra passport.
Reports from The Telegraph newspaper of
Saturday, January 9 revealed that several
federal government agencies in charge of
issuing important documents like the
International Passport have all washed off
their hands in anything like an Igbo passport
after information made known by the
factional and new leader of the MASSOB,
Uchenna Madu.
