Please car gurus, help me make a choice, I hv a budget of 750k, I want a recent model car but my budget is low for a tokunbo, I know I can get good used cars, I hv actually seen some within that price range.

Please help me make a choice between Toyota Camry 2003 model and Toyota Avalon 2000 model.

Which one is more reliable as a Nigerian used car.

Frm my own perspective Camry is better than avalon. Avalon is usually v6 engine expect u want a speed car,area matter too Camry are strong for rough road. Just make sure u buy a four plugs engine,that will save fuel and parts.

Your budget of 750k can actually get you registered 2004/05 Honda Accord, 2007 Honda Civic, 2004 Camry, 2003 Corolla and 2004 Avalon.

I will suggest u buy a compact car wth 4 plug. A 02/03 corolla or civic is good. Corolla will have bin ur best option but im not sure u can get a good one for 750k. But sure u will get a very clean civic for dat price. If u dont mind u can as well get a honda city, kia rio and cerato below ur budget.

EOD is a very nice car and not a wahala car as you insinuated, though I'm to own one but a friend of mine has own his for 7yrs and the car is still waxing strong.he has bought and sold three other cars during that time but he isn't ready to part with his EOD just yet.

Civic are sold off cheap because the demand is not as high as that of Camry and Corolla, but in truth the Civic is a better car than the Corolla.

The 2001 - 2004 Avalon come with 3.5L V6 engine standard, though fuel efficient.

If you need a sound and trouble-free car for that then PM.
