Hello NL,please I need someone to help out,have been married for over a year now here in nigeria and my husband is residencing in Spain and he as residents permit, he has summitted the document for family reunification there and we are waiting for respond.pls I need to know what and what I need to start doing to make process fast and favorable, because I once did the police character and now it as expiry while waiting.please what and what do I need and how do I go about it and if we are on the right track fro the processing.have been to the spanish embassy before,i was not allow to go in because some guys stopped me outside (guess their security) and gave me some information,i dont want same thing to happen again,i want to go there prepared (go with the right document)so i need someone to give me the list of what I need to go alone with to start the processing here,have certify marriage certificate at the registry,done affidavit and birth certificate.pls what else do I need to go with,so as to get the visa.thks pls I need a suggestion or answer urgently

Ma, the steps are not too hard only if you know about it, I have been trying to get a family reunion visa since 2014 I was able to complete all the steps and submitted my application by december! You need to legalise all the documents needed @ the ministry of foreign affairs at abuja and subsequently at the spanish embassy and it takes two months of investigation,! birth ceritificate urs n dat of ur husband,marriage certificate,medical report from a government hospital,police report,invitation letter from spain,copy of ur husbands resident permit n passport both old and new legalised by a notary public in spain.. u r supposed to have legalised those documents before letting your husband apply for invitation letter at spain.. Wen I was doing mine I did'nt know any of these and my dad applied for invitation letter three different times as it kept expiring...
