hi! good day every one please i need help from any one who has written earth scientist aptitude test with chevron i dont really know what they usually ask ,please can anyone give me an idea ,i have the test on wednessday

prepare along the lines of niger delta petroleum geology, log interpretation and subsurface reservoir mapping. i guess u will have some suites of logs, maybe paper seismic, and lots of contour maps both structural, isopach etc. u may need to do some contouring and fault interpretation/mapping within those maps. all the results will be used in calculating volumetrics. so u should be aware of equations used in calculating OIIP, STOIIP, and recoverable reserves. in this case u have to know how to quantify gross/net rock volumes. try to connect with your other pals who must have done the test recently for more info.

the aptitude test comprises 3 sections; verbal, quantitative and diagrammatic reasoning. Plenty questions, little time, but not difficult.
