It's a known and accepted fact that Mary is the mother of the Christ...but It is always disputed whether she should be honored or not. Revelations 12 is a chapter dedicated to Mary and tells how the dragon tried to destroy her and the child she brought forth. God protected her and so did the earth. If God felt the need to protect her and the earth on which we exist also protected her and because of her offspring, a war broke out in Heaven...please!!! make me understand why y'all don't want us to honor her! She is the mother of the Christ...the mother of the word which was with God and which is God and through Him all things were made. (John 1:1)... She is the mother of the church as authorized by Jesus before His passing (John 19:26-27)... She deserves to be Honored!!! 1 Like |

Glory to Jesus and Honour to our Mother Mary. Mother Mary must be held in high esteem and honour always, mortal men do not understand this. The ways of God are not the ways of men! If God wanted us to honor Mary, he could've said so. No one is stopping you from honoring and praying to her but the Lord our God is a jealous God and will not share his glory with anyone, not even his mother, Mary. 2 Likes |

catholicism is religion. True Christianity is a relationship. Your church cannot take you to heaven, or exempt you from wrath. Like a user rightly said, Jesus never worshipped nor honored Mary, so why should we? No biblical apostle, prophet, disciple, honored or worshipped or bow at her image, so why should we? Jesus said I am the way the truth and the life, no one cometh to the Father except through, He also said come unto me all ye that labour and are heavy laden and I will give you rest and peace of mind. He never said I and my mother are The way neither did he say pass through Mary before you can come to me. Pls where in the bible did Jesus say ask Mary to pray for you, even in the model prayer i.2 The lords prayer no mention of Mary so where exactly did our catholic folks get their own doctrines from? |

Rev 12:1* And there appeared a great wonder in heaven; a woman clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and upon her head a crown of twelve stars: Here the opening verse describe this woman. Please, how does Mary fit in, scripturally? what is Mary is Mary's relationship to moon, sun and stars? Gen 37:9-10 And he dreamed yet another dream, and told it his brethren, and said, Behold, I have dreamed a dream more; and, behold, the sun and the moon and the eleven stars made obeisance to me. 10 And he told it to his father, and to his brethren: and his father rebuked him, and said unto him, What is this dream that thou hast dreamed? Shall I and thy mother and thy brethren indeed come to bow down ourselves to thee to the earth? In the above verses from Genesis, who are the eleven stars( adding Joseph makes it twelve stars) Also note the moon and the sun symbolism. Can you explain from scripture how this woman is Mary. After reading the chapter( rev 12) to the end, sincerely does Mary fit in? note that this 'woman' is still in the earth during the 3¹/2 years of Daniel's 70th week(vs 14). *************************************** Rev 12:2And she being with child cried, travailing in birth, and pained to be delivered. Rev 12:5 And she brought forth a man child, who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron: and her child was caught up unto God, and to his throne. 'and her children.' ************************************************************************************************************************* Rev 12:6And the woman fled into the wilderness, where she hath a place prepared of God, that they should feed her there a thousand two hundred and threescore days. after the child is caught up to heaven, the woman fled into the wilderness for 3¹/2 years. this and the remaining part of the chapter describe events during Daniels 70 week, this 'woman' is still on earth! thousands of years after Mary had died. |
